All wood-loving mushrooms provide excellent nutritional and immune boosting benefits.  Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, and Reishi in particular are considered functional or medicinal mushrooms.  Lion’s Mane is reported to improve neve growth factor (NGF) and for many is a part of their daily health supplement regimen.
